Agnes and the others return to the surface victorious and well laden with newly procured loot. She returns to the area near the shore where the soldiers are keeping the steeds. She collects hers while informing the four sentries that it's likely they will be returning home soon.

During the return trip, Agnes refines what she'd said about the plate armor taken from the troglodyte leader's corpse. "If that armor were new, one o' us would be payin' 1500 gold fer it. It ain't got a master's touch to it. I kin patch it if onna ya wants it but it'd be a break even if I fix it 'n then sell it. Th' steel be good 'nuff though that the Smithy 'n I kin smelt it down fer other uses; horseshoes, harpoon heads 'n the likes."

Ka'Vall vaguely hears the conversation concerning the matter of what to do with the plate armor found. Instead, he tries to concentrate on the rather odd discoveries that have manifested on this journey to the trogdolyte lair. This proves hard for him to do because he is definately not the most proficient rider. But the wizard feels that he has built a strong and trusting relationship with his mount, Iluastri. (He was immediately awed by the shear beauty of this horse, a strong regal aura combined with a completely black coat. It brought up images of the darkest of nights, thus the name given him though the word is derived from the elven language).

{have company now so will edit and complete this later. }
