On looking back to see where the lowbies stand, I find the same thing bogging down that group as the epics....an open post regarding loot.

Please try to keep track of this stuff. I have more than once audited your characters to find that some of you have actually no clue as to what your characters' wealth is and you just "wing it". If this was a table top game, I could look at your character sheets at any given moment. Here we use the honor system. This isn't changeling where you just say "I buy a ham sandwich at the deli" and assume the money is there. There may come a time when you are counting up coppers.

So please, start keeping better track and participating in the forums to help make the decisions...or designate someone to be loot master to just divvy it up and take what you get. DMing epic toons is requiring a little extra work on my part, I would really hate to have to deal with the minutia of treasure distribution too.

Please come to an agreement and work it out.

Actually, I thought the epic crew had a "lootmaster"? It's been a while but I think it was either Allie or Thay?

For awhile I was the OOC quartermaster, though that stopped about a year or so ago. I can take up the job again if people like. The Epic loot thread is missing several players' responses. Mark and I have been the only ones posting remarks.

Truth of it is that most of the time Shanti doesn't take armor, she wears leather and cotton most of the time, and she pretty much never takes a weapon. Most of her needs are monitary for upkeep of the castle, hence, I don't respond as there aren't really items she would claim. I'm great with Nancy taking up that mantle again, and thank her ahead of time!

Nancy has taken on this role many times on and off during the years, and I can't recall anyone ever complaining about her decisions. She knows the rules, what each class needs, and seems to remember who already has what better than I do. So I am happy if she wants to take on that responsibilty again with one or both groups.

So as far as I'm concerned, unless there are objections, Nancy has the job. If you want something specific, let her know immediately so she can figure that in to her calculations. Otherwise, you take what you get, and that's one less thing to stress over.
