I'm all for the tactical retreat. We may not get as much XP as if we were to kill the Prince and his Elites but we'd have a better chance of completing the quest itself.

Thaylias wants to vanquish Yeenogho but he knows that this is not the realm to push his luck and like the DM said, this guy packs a mean punch. So retreating from the Abyss is the primary objective now IF Allie has the scepter and it appears she has. I think we have two options. First, the Key of Alozar. If I remember right, Allie has one half and Thay has the other. We can do this option but the enemy will surely have some AOO to deliver and that is risky with the amount of damage this guy deals. Even after all of that I dont positively know if it will work??? Second option for us is to use the 'Jewels of Last Resort,' given to us by Cattalinia. The Lady herself forewarned us that they should be used to save our lives, though the cost be high!!!! This is all assuming I took accurate notes. I wish I could have posted this earlier so we could consider our options in a timely manner. See you all in the morning!

Delvar is all for retreating with their prize. Not sure if Wall of Force and Resilient sphere will help a lot, but it should slow the badguys down, at least the elites.

Teleportation in the abyss is a trickier matter so not sure it would be wise to risk. IT won't get us out of the plane, but it might get distance
