Harry Potter opens on 7/15. Erin flies to Little Rock on 7/18. Those combined...we're taking our daughter to the movies, and then saying farewell as she leave the nest by literally spreading her wings and flying 1600 miles away from it.

Sooo....no game on the 17th, we will resume our regularly scheduled program on 7/24. Same bat time, same bat channel.

Meanwhile, Mom is trying not to get an ulcer ;-)

See you all this Friday though!

A few years ago, when I traveled often, I had many lay overs at Atlanta's Hartsfield airport. I knew then that is was perhaps the biggest but definately the busiest daytime airport in the country. (worked there for a while too) Anyway, they have I think six concourses, the last being international. When I would land I would take the train straight to concourse A, take a shot of Jack. I repeated that until the international hub where I would take a shot of Bombay gin. The goal at this point was to reverse drink back to the concourse your connecting flight was at. Needless to say at that point we would be feeling pretty good. I dont drink anymore but that was one hell of a game, second only to our Friday nights.

That's a rather convoluted itinerary. No non stop flights between Boston and Little Rock?

Only if we want to pay 2-300 dollars more, which we can't, and Boston is over 6 hours round trip for us, whereas Lebanon is an hour and a half round trip. All things considered, since she's fine with this, it saves time and money as well. More power to her ;-) She comes into work with me tomorrow to talk to the travel agent (a friend of mine) who will give her airline etiquette and what to expect. She also bought a trac phone to let us know all is well.
